FREELANCE - PRODUCER, REPORTER, CHIEF SUB, DUTY EDITOR
Since 2004, Greg has enjoyed a successful freelance career - working primarily for Sky News and ITN. At the former, Greg regularly acts as a producer, chief sub and chief sub video. Duties include package producing, briefing reporters, commissioning graphics, building running orders, supervising the channel's use of picture and outputting live, rolling news from the gallery.
At ITN, Greg has reported for the ITV Morning News, worked as an output producer on the ITV Evening News and News At Ten bulletins, and produced multimedia content for clients including Channel 4 News, Yahoo! and The Daily Telegraph. A report written, voiced and edited by Greg is ITN's most-watched clip on YouTube - with a staggering 29 MILLION views.
ITV NEWS - PRODUCER
Before going freelance, Greg was a staff producer at ITV News - working on the national news bulletins as well as the ITV Newschannel. Duties included building running orders, commissioning graphics, packaging and outputting rolling news from the gallery. Greg's time at ITN included a stint as a dedicated graphics producer on ITV's then state-of-the-art video wall.
LONDON NEWS NETWORK - PRODUCER
Greg became the youngest output producer in LNN's history when he was 22 - working on ITV's flagship regional news programme, London Tonight. Duties included building and outputting bulletins, package producing and commissioning graphics.
LONDON NEWS NETWORK - WEBMASTER
Greg began his news career as webmaster for LNN - editing London Tonight's website and ITV Sports' On The Ball football website. Greg also helped to pioneer LNN's venture into the world of new media - advising on matters such as video encoding, streaming webcasts and site design. |
